Haven’t used NUDEMETER yet? Discover your match here!

Spktrm Beauty and NUDEST have collaborated to bring you an easy, accurate way to find your ideal foundation shade from the comfort of your own home. Instead of all the guesswork using swatch photos, NUDEMETER will give you your shade match for each season after answering a short quiz and submitting a selfie. After getting your match, make sure to share your #SpktrmxNUDEST selfie with us!

Currently, 84% of the global population does not match the traditional shade of “nude.” Now that #DiversityIsIn, the definition of “nude” is evolving, and beauty brands are increasing their shade range in record numbers. Fenty Beauty set the new standard with their revolutionary 40 shades of foundation; brands like PÜR Cosmetics have taken it further with 100 shades. Ironically, despite more shades being offered, many still have a hard time finding a match.

NUDEMETER makes shade matching accessible to everyone, regardless of skin tone. Join the movement for makeup inclusivity and share your NUDEMETER selfie with #SpktrmxNUDEST.

About NUDEST

Founded in 2016 at Harvard Business School, NUDEST seeks to change the standard of beauty to match the full range of diversity in human skin. Founder Atima Lui launched NUDEMETER™ — a proprietary computer vision technology that algorithmically matches a user's skin tone to beauty items online — with the help of her brother and software engineer Nyalia Lui. NUDEST believes in makeup inclusivity and developing AI technology free of racial bias. When AI product teams are racially biased, the software they produce is likely to be racially biased, too.
