Recently, I had the opportunity to review the Onyxbox made by We Are Onyx. Onyxbox is a subscription beauty box curated by black women, for black women! This excited me because I never even thought something like that existed. I had the opportunity to interview Co-Founder and Head of Product of We Are Onyx, Delali Kpodzo, who was happy to share with us what the company and the Onyx Box are all about.
The need for inclusion and diversity is important now more than ever. Representation of art from all parts of the world is an important and necessary step towards inclusion. While the Google Arts and Culture app is just a small piece of the puzzle, the recognition of prejudice in any way is a positive start.
